Aptech Career Quest 2020 is conducted in association with Middlesex University, London annually in Nigeria to educate students about the amazing career opportunities in the I.T. industry and also offer scholarships upto 50% to study at Middlesex University, London.

This year CQ was conducted online to ensure the safety of students amid Covid-19. Over 1000 students attended the interactive webinars from 7th October to 14th October 2020. Over 20 million naira was granted by Middlesex University, London and over 40 million naira was granted by Aptech to the students across Nigeria.

The pandemic outbreak caused a total lockdown around the world. In such a critical situation, Aptech continued teaching with online classes for its students in various countries like Nigeria, Kenya, Uganda, Honduras, Vietnam, Pakistan and Qatar to name a few. In order to engage the students and break the monotony of learning from home, Aptech launched Techtrons – an online tech-based quiz competition from 27th April 2020 to 3rd May 2020 globally.

Techtrons was based on the concept of Fastest Finger First which means the students have to answer the questions of the online quiz quickly and correctly in order to earn maximum points. Techtrons had over 5400 students registered from 80 centers across 15 countries.

Aptech launches ACCP Prime, a comprehensive career course with latest technologies. Students will learn latest concepts like UI/UX for Responsive Design, Android App Development, Cloud Computing, Internet of Things and much more. These concepts will upgrade the students and keep them ahead of the competition. We aim to produce skilled professionals who are job-ready and can be easily absorbed in the job market.

In alliance with Middlesex University, this year Aptech Ltd has hosted a career guidance seminar ‘Career Quest’ for the 3rd time in Nigeria, giving students an opportunity to get quality British education.

Seminars were held in Lagos (30th July and 2nd August, 2012) and Abuja (31st July 2012). Aptech & University students significantly participated & made this event a great success.

Dr. David Endzi and Ms. Katie Floyd from the University of Portsmouth, U.K. visited all Aptech centers in Nigeria, in the last week of February 2008. They individually counseled students who wanted to progress into Degree programs at the university. Aptech has tied up with the University of Portsmouth to enable students studying at its centers across Nigeria to transfer their academic credit towards a B.Sc. Honors degree from the university. Students can now choose from eight specializations and gain a direct entry into the final year of the degree program. The recent counseling session provided students with an opportunity to interact in person with officials from the International Admissions Office and the Faculty of Technology.

Aptech hosted the World Business Partner meet 2008 in Hyderabad, India from 16th to 19th January 2008. The event was attended by over 100 delegates from more than 20 countries and was held at the Ramojee Studios, the largest film studio in the world. The theme for the event this year was 'Beyond Boundaries'. This event provides a unique opportunity for all participants to exchange ideas, review past successes, and plan for future growth. It also provides a platform to recognize superior performance and excellence in achievement across the Aptech training center network. As in the other years. This forum was used to launch several new initiatives aimed at maintaining our leadership in the training and education segment.

Two Aptech students were awarded the Best Performance Prize 2007 by the School of Computing at the University of Portsmouth, UK. These students had opted to transfer their academic credits earned at Aptech to gain an advanced entry into the final year of the B.Sc. Honors degree program at the university. Their achievement is testimony to the high academic standards of the Aptech curriculum and the quality of education being imparted. Students availing the credit transfer option not only save time by direct entry into the final year of the degree program, but also benefit from significant cost savings while still enjoying the prestige and recognition associated with U.K. degree.

Students of the Victoria Island center organized a send-off party for their peers who completed their ACCP in Nigeria and were progressing to universities in the UK to complete their graduation. The party took place on 15th September 2007 at the Flamingo restaurant in Victoria Island and was attended by students, parents, and the center staff. The party was a big success with students being awarded in various categories, and also organizing a variety show with songs and dance performances. This was the first time such an event was organized by students for their peers. The event was fully planned and organized by the students with some financial assistance from the center.

The Surulere Center conducted project presentations for 2 batches on 8th of August 2007. Students from all batches were invited to attend, irrespective of the course they had enrolled for. Selected students showcased their projects and then had a lively debate with the audience defending their presentations. Around 70 students attended the project presentation, which was divided into two groups. Each group was given 90 minutes to present. Senior faculties acted as judges and based on their decision students were rated for the first, second, and third positions. Prizes were then awarded to the first three projects. Miss. MUSTAPHA OLAIDE, Mrs. ADDY DAODU, and Mr. ONUK ONUK won the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively. Light refreshment was served at the end of the event to celebrate the winners.
